BLOG TOUR- 5 STAR READ- THE WAY WE FALL by CASSIA LEO
The Way We Fall Synopsis:
From New York Times bestselling author Cassia Leo comes a twisted and passionate love story that pushes the boundaries of loyalty.
Maybe we shouldn’t have fallen so fast and so willingly.
Maybe we shouldn’t have moved in together before we went on our first date.
Maybe we should have given our wounds time to heal before we tore each other to shreds.
Maybe we should have never been together.
Houston has kept a devastating secret from Rory since the day he took her into his home. But the tragic circumstances that brought them together left wounds too deep to heal.
Five years after the breakup, Houston and Rory are thrust together by forces beyond their control. And all the resentments and passion return with more intensity than ever.
Once again, Houston is left with a choice between the truth and the only girl he’s ever loved.
The Way We Fall is the first book in The Story of Us series, which follows the tumultuous love story of Rory and Houston. The sequel, The Way We Break, will be released Spring 2015.

MY REVIEW
***
"Even when we want to forget, our scars have a way of reminding us where we've been"
These were the first words I read as I commenced this book. These are words that resonated deeply with me, and I suspect to any of you who have been wounded on Love's battlefields.
They say physical scars heal and fade away but its the ones left on our hearts that tend to remain long after the battle is over. And thats how it was for Rory & Houston.
Brought together under tragic circumstances, they are left scarred and broken but in the midst of their pain they experience love's transformative power,
but there are things that Rory is unaware of, secrets that Houston knows, deep down,
will eventually tear them apart. But their love is just... beautiful, and real and true.
"I was eighteen when I got lost in Houston, and in him I found myself. They say love is just two souls recognising each other. With Houston and me it was more like two souls staring into a mirror, my left hand aligned with his right, our hearts skipping a beat at the same moment, our lungs choking on the same noxious air, our scars as perfectly aligned as mountains and fault lines. If ever two souls were perfectly right and perfectly wrong for each other it would be us. Us"
As I devoured this book, I found myself constantly wondering if Cassia Leo was actually writing from experience, because the words were so effectual, and so genuine that my own scars were threatening to burst open, and ultimately thats what I love in my books.
I wanna feel the feels, all of them, the angst, the joy, the sadness all of it!
Cassia's books just get better and better and her writing in this one in particular is stunning!
I cannot wait for book two in this series. I am totally hooked with Rory & Houston's story.
I can feel a HEA coming and I believe it will be SPECTACULAR!
You guys this book is HOS mandatory reading!

Cassia Leo Bio:
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cassia Leo loves her coffee, chocolate, and margaritas with salt. When she’s not writing, she spends way too much time watching old reruns of Friends and Sex and the City. When she’s not watching reruns, she’s usually enjoying the California sunshine or reading – sometimes both.

Kelly
Everyone has their kryptonite, mine just so happens to be him. The womanizer, the male whore and the sexiest man you’ll ever lay your eyes on. With his dark hair, penetrating eyes, and his god like body beckoning to be touched, you can’t help but be hypnotized by the man.
He makes me want things I don’t deserve, makes me feel things I didn’t think I’d ever experience again, not after the hurt I’ve caused, the damage I’ve done. Yet, when I’m with him or he’s around, I feel free, light, like I can finally live.
He’s everything I swore to stay away from, yet, like a moth to a flame, I know I’m about to get burned.

I’m not a fan of the word no. Well, that was until the little vixen Kelly Dean said it to me. Not just once, but over and over again. I used to think of her ‘‘no’’ as foreplay, now they make me feel the total opposite.
One night was all it took for me to become addicted to her. One night for me to screw up the best thing that had ever happened to me and one night for my world to start falling apart piece by piece.
My mission to make it up to her isn’t as clear cut as I thought it would be. How was I to know two people from my past were going to make it difficult?
Thankfully one is here to make amends, but unfortunately, the other is here for revenge.
Now I’m praying like hell that at the end of this battle, she’s my gift. After all, it’s her I’m fighting for.
Don't Miss The First Two Books In This Thrilling Series!
I’m Harlow Evans. Shortly after my parents were murdered I moved in with my Grandma.
It meant switching schools, losing friends, and moving away from the only home I knew. All I wanted was to finish the school year hassle free.
Switching seats on that first day altered my life. After surviving the loss of my parents I never thought anything could break me, but then HE came into my life....
He wants to hurt me
Destroy me
Ruin me
Tragedy brought me here, and a cruel twist of fate has me desperate to leave. There's also someone here that has me fighting to stay though.
All my life I’ve lived in the shadows, trying to go unnoticed, until I met HIM....
Malik Carter....
He’s broody, quiet, and holding on to a dark past. From that first meeting I was drawn to him, his painfully gorgeous looks and model physique, but I also knew he was totally out of my league.
He's the boy next door who, with his domineering personality, has somehow etched his way into my life.
When the Carter Brothers take it upon themselves to protect me from what’s coming, I’m not sure whether to be relieved or shocked.
You see, when a Carter brother loves, they love fiercely, strongly and protectively. No one can get in their way. They’re also used to getting what they want, even if it means getting hurt.
There’s one thing you should know about the Carter brothers before you read my story....
If you mess with one, you mess with them all.
Lisa Helen Gray (1987) born in Birmingham. All Lisa has ever wanted to do in life, apart from be a mother, is to read and write, and at a certain age she wanted to be a princess. We can all dream, right?
Serious note though, she has been a passionate reader ever since her Nan first handed her The Three Gollywogs by Enid Blyton. After that, she lived in a land of fantasy.
First came Buffy the Vampire Slayer, then Angel, and it went on to Twilight and The Hunger Games. Some would say she is a daydreamer, but she is just a firm believer that there is a happily ever after. Hence, her huge love of romance novels.
She got into reviewing other author’s novels, and then decided to publish her own work. Bringing us to her first novel, If I could I'd wish it all away (2014).
She always has her head stuck in a romance novel
and is often (too often) reminded of this. When she hasn't got her head stuck in a book or writing her next novel, she is glued to the TV series Pretty Little Liars, walking dead, The Originals, The Vampire Diaries and of course, Veronica Mars. Just an ordinary girl surround by extraordinary books

BLOG TOUR - THE HURRICANE by R.J.PRESCOTT
The Hurricane by R.J. Prescott
Publication date: February 16th 2015
Genres: New Adult, Romance
SYNOPSIS
Emily McCarthy is living in fear of a dark and dangerous past. A gifted mathematician, she is little more than a hollow, broken shell, trying desperately to make ends meet long enough to finish her degree.
Through an unlikely friendship with the aging, cantankerous owner of an old boxing gym, Em is thrown into the path of the most dangerous man that she has ever met.
Cormac “the Hurricane” O'Connell is cut, tattooed and dangerous. He is a lethal weapon with no safety and everyone is waiting for the mis-fire. He’s never been knocked out before, but when he meet Em he falls, HARD. Unlike any other girl he’s ever met, she doesn't want anything from him.
Just being around her makes him want to be a better person.
They are polar opposites who were never meant to find each other, but some things are just worth the fight.
MY REVIEW
Those of you who know me know I can't resist a fighter book boy, throw in an Irish accent and well I'm pretty much PUTTY....
I hoped so much that I would love this book and I did!
Cormac "The Hurricane" O'Connell is such an intense character and a paradox.
He is like a tough, battle scarred warrior, but underneath that trained exterior is a gentle hearted man, who has experienced hurt and abandonment from the one person who was
meant to protect and nurture him. Emily is so consumed
by this his sheer ferocity and presence that she
finds herself unable to resist him...
"Reaching out one giant, calloused hand, he tucked a wayward curl behind my ear. He lifted my chin with his knuckle forcing me to meet his gentle gaze. He looked so happy and intense right now that I could feel my eyes welling up. I never thought that anyone would look at me like that. "I know I'm gonna fuck up with you a lot. I'm not smart like you, and I know I don't deserve you. Right now I'm dirt poor, but one day, I'm not gonna be. I will fight to make something better of myself, to be someone better. Someone you can be proud of. If you need time, then I'll give you time, if you need friendship then I'll give you friendship. But you're mine, and when the time is right, when you're ready, I'm coming for you."
OMG this boy!!!
Dont be fooled into thinking that this is just another fighter story, Its soooo much more!
I want to add that this is the author's debut novel and I was impressed because she told this
story like a seasoned pro. The tension was real, the dialogue believable & the secondary characters added so much to the story.
I really LOVED 'Hurricane' and
I'm so looking forward to more for this author!

AUTHOR BIO:
I was born in Cardiff, South Wales although I left to study law at the University of Bristol, England. Four weeks before graduation I fell in love, and stayed. Ten years later I convinced my crazy, wonderful fire fighter husband to move back to Cardiff with me where we live with our two equally crazy sons. Juggling work, writing and family doesn’t leave a lot of time, but curling up on the sofa with a cup of tea and a bar of chocolate for family movie night is definitely the best part of my week. “The Hurricane” is my debut New Adult Novel.
