SYNOPSIS
Holden Scott is the prince of professional football. At least he was before he lost it all . . .
or more to the point, before he threw it all away. Now he's out of a job, out of the public's
good graces, and perhaps just a little out of his mind. So when a friend offers up his remote
lodge in the wilds of Colorado, giving Holden some time away to get his life back on track,
he can hardly say no. The last thing he expects is to see a beautiful girl in the woods—
one wearing a , lace dress who appears in the moonlight, and leaves no footprints behind.
Is she a dream? A ghost? A product of his muddled imagination? Or something entirely different?
Midnight Lily is the haunting love story of two lost souls reaching for each other in the dark.
Midnight Lily is the haunting love story of two lost souls reaching for each other in the dark.
A tale of healing, acceptance, and the worlds we create to protect our own hearts. It is a story of

MY REVIEW
I can't tell you how excited I am to be reviewing the latest Sign Of Love Installment
by Mia Sheridan!
I decided very early when I was taking notes for my review that I couldn't possibly pick
apart the story for you the way I usually do, and the reason is simply that this book-
this gorgeously dreamed up story is a gift that you need to unwrap for yourself.
I will tell you that it is a bewitching and curious story narrated in alternate POV's.
It's setting, which is beautifully depicted, conjures up a haunting ambiance and from the
very first pages, I found myself asking the question that I know will be on everyone's lips...
Who Is Lily?
"I'd dreamed of her, over and over, visions that twisted and turned and caused me to
wake up in a cold sweat, swearing her scent hung in the air all
around me like a benediction"
Her innocence and beauty captivated me. Her gentility and pure heart seemed to be the
perfect balm to heal his brokenness and her auspicious appearance in his life at pivotal
moments was utterly fascinating...who is she???
"In the darkness, she held me in her arms. In the darkness, she whispered that
I was strong enough to hold on, that I was worthy of the love she'd given,
and she reminded me of who I was before I was anyone at all. My Lily Of The Night.
Only of the moon. Because now, just as then,
when daylight came, she was no longer there."
"The answer to this poignant question revealed itself suddenly, just as the book
reached its spine-tingling crescendo, but then continued to reveal itself more
and more, even after I had put the book down.
I could never have predicted where the story would take me or that it would arrive
at the stunning conclusion it did. I was sincerely blown away and left perfectly speechless.
I found myself thinking about this story as I lay in bed at night, and as I went
about my days thereafter.
I. Just . Loved. It.
"If you go away, then I'll come find you, even if it means I have to get lost for a
while too." She shook her head, her smile sweetly puzzled. "How will you be able
to do that?" "Because," I said moving even closer so our bodies touched and she
had to tip her head to look up at me, "I'm not afraid of the darkness. I've been
there before. I'll Step into it willingly, unhesitatingly, and I"ll come find you. No
one else could make that promise and mean it, Lily. No one. No one except me."
Another immaculately written 6 star read by Mia Sheridan!!
